Al & Gary Good Proudy Present
"Al Good Instruments For Kids"
Long time Oklahoma Bandleader Al Good spent his entire life and career in music. First doing live radio shows throughout the country with his accordion and finally settling down in Oklahoma City where he was on the first television broadcast at WKY TV in 1949. Al Good and his Orchestra was a mainstay at society balls and dances for over almost 60 years playing for every Oklahoma Governor since Roy Turner.
When Al passed away "in between gigs" in 2003, son Gary decided to honor him with The Al Good Instruments For Kids Project. The goal and purpose is to put instruments in the hands of children who otherwise could not afford them. If you have an instrument you would like to donate, email Gary at [email protected] and put "Instruments For Kids" in the subject. And if you know of a kid who needs an instrument, just let us know! |
