Al & Gary Good Proudy Present

"Al  Good  Instruments  For  Kids"

Picture
Long time Oklahoma Bandleader Al Good spent his entire life and career in music. First doing live radio shows throughout the country with his accordion and finally settling down in Oklahoma City where he was on the first television broadcast at WKY TV in 1949. Al Good and his Orchestra was a mainstay at society balls and dances for over almost 60 years playing for every Oklahoma Governor since Roy Turner.

When Al passed away "in between gigs" in 2003, son Gary decided to honor him with The Al Good Instruments For Kids Project. The goal and purpose is to put instruments in the hands of children who otherwise could not afford them. If you have an instrument you would like to donate, email Gary at gg@garygood.com and put "Instruments For Kids" in the subject.  And if you know of a kid who needs an instrument, just let us know!

What Our Clients Are Saying

I've had the good pleasure of working with Gary Good many times. He's a good friend as well as a business associate. If you're looking for good entertainment, if you're looking for someone you can depend on...    Well... go ahead and call Gary anyway!    Paul Williams
The Gatlin Brothers have done shows with Gary Good many times. He's a great guy - always takes care of business -  so call him for your entertainment needs. And every now and then, he'll even buy lunch!  Rudy Gatlin , The Gatlin Brothers
Gary, l want to take a minute to tell you what a difference you personally made in the lives of the kids and parents from the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame by arranging for them to attend Wynton Marsalis' sound check and to meet with him after his concert. The visits with Mr. Marsalis provided the personal attention and reinforcement these inner city music students need to motivate them to continue their studies. These students were energized; their parents were thrilled. Jim Epperson, Senior Vice President, AT&T
Gary, Thank you for saving the day! I appreciate your service & help. Vonnie Garner, Asst. VP OKC Community Relations, Bank Of Oklahoma
